Brayah Pickard - Actor, Singer, Director, & Arts Educator

Brayah Pickard is a Kingston-based artist and educator. As a graduate of the collaborative Bachelor of Music Theatre program through St. Lawrence College & Queen’s University, she has intensive, hands-on training in performance as well as an academic background in the arts.

In addition to her BMT, Brayah has an Honours Bachelor of Arts in Drama and a Bachelor of Education from Queen’s. As a selected member of the “Artist in Community Education” program track, she has a special focus on how creativity and learning intersect. She is a qualified high school teacher in Drama and Vocal Music, and she teaches private voice lessons. She also enjoys directing, especially for youth theatre, and has recently directed The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe, and The Lightning Thief for Blue Canoe Productions.

Recent performance credits include The Witch and the Glitch for Bottletree Productions, Blood River for Theatre Kingston, Lancashire Lass for the Watershed Festival, Murder on the Orient Express at the Domino, and The Miraculous Journey of Edward Tulane for TK Fringe.
